Thanks note to and a brief introduction of my friend, Peter Lerner. He has made my weekend!
Peter Lerner has been working as a professional musician/guitarist, composer, arranger and recording artist ever since graduating from Chicago’s American Conservatory of Music in 1983.

It’s Lerner’s multi-faceted talent that makes him in demand: he has recorded numerous television shows and commercials, including the Oprah Winfrey Show and Tom Joyner Morning Show. As a versatile guitarist, he performed with Gladys Knight, Funk icon Bootsy Collins, Charlie Wilson of the Gap Band, The Fifth Dimension, and blues harpist Sugar Blue among others. Peter has played on tracks featuring B.B. King, Patti LaBelle, and BB & Cee Cee Wynan. His theater credits include Joseph & the Amezing Technicolor Dreamcoat (starring Donny Osmond), Randy Newman’s Faust, Jesus Christ Superstar and Chorus Line. As a jazz guitarist, he has performed with Ramsey Lewis, Lee Konitz and Willie Pickens among many other artists, at numerous festivals and clubs. Lerner’s original music compositions/arrangements and CDs have garnered critical acclaim.

He's been also a faculty member at Columbia College of Chicago since 1995, raising the next generation of musicians.
