Chicago Triathlon 2011 - World's Largest -
Olympic Distance

A gorgeous day with 75F/24c, but was a super choppy and windy day, and quite tough for the triathlon. So, it was a great workout for me for this another triathlon without practice. The life guard saved me after the 100 yards of swim again, got rested for a couple of minutes. Thank you so much for friends that came to cheer for us. Could not have done it without you!

Too dark to see anything, too early in the morning to do anything!

シカゴトライアスロンにランナーズの鈴さんや格闘家たちと参戦。

カメラもバッグチェックせねばならず、バイクとランの写真がなくてごめんなさい。　練習無しのぶっつけ本番でしたが、最高の天気にもかかわらず、荒波と強風に翻弄されながら、、、また、スイムのスタート直後には昨年同様にレスキューの世話になりながらも、無事にフィニッシュできました。　やはり、仕事もそうですが何事も環境やまわりに飲み込まれず、種目毎のスタート時の入り方が重要ですね。

また、応援に駆けつけてくださった方々、麻さん、聡子さん、明実さん、本当に有難うございました！ 踏ん張れました！　これからリバウンドとの闘いです。
